The working premise

A serious founder experience with the discipline of an institution.

One founder experience. Two distinct strengths.

An ABHYUDAY programme, in academic association with IMT Ghaziabad.

ABHYUDAY brings

Founder selection, programme design, studio work, resident support, daily operations, and follow-through.

IMT brings

Faculty-led learning, institutional depth, and the IMT-IIC mentor and investor ecosystem.

Founding cohort

The gap between you and your next investor isn’t talent. It’s distance.

Right now, deals are being discussed in rooms you’re not in. Founding cohort seats are limited.

Why ABHYUDAY exists

We are running an experiment in concentrated founder progress.

35 residential daysGate reviewDemo DayGraduation

ABHYUDAY brings a selected group of early-stage founders together for 35 residential days of serious work.

They do not arrive to attend a course. They arrive with something in motion: a customer problem, a prototype, early users, a pilot, revenue, or an insight worth testing. Then they work closely—with mentors, peers, institutions, and the market—to make the venture clearer, stronger, and more ready for its next opportunity.

Before founders walk in, the real groundwork has already begun: thoughtful selection, a working programme, practical mentors, institutional support, and relevant pathways into customers, partners, ecosystem networks, and capital conversations.

We are not trying to create louder pitches.

We are trying to help founders build businesses that deserve a second meeting.

India’s next generation of meaningful companies will not be built in one city or by one kind of founder. They will be built by people who understand local realities, move with discipline, and stay close to the customer.

ABHYUDAY exists to give founders from Bihar, Jharkhand, and eastern India a serious place to do that work.

Abhyuday (अभ्युदय) is Sanskrit for rising, as the sun rises in the east. A name for founders from eastern India who are ready to rise.

Founder momentum beyond Demo Day.

The 35 days, week by week

Work on the business, not just a presentation about it.

Learning here is experiential. Every idea turns into work on your own startup: in the field, in the studio and with mentors.

Each week builds one layer of your business and ends with a gate review: a short panel conversation where you show what has changed. The result is Go or Iterate. No one is dropped; Iterate means extra mentor time and a second review.

Demo Day · investor and ecosystem conversations

Do not just pitch. Give the right person a reason to keep talking.

A good Demo Day is not a performance. It is a conversation built on the customer proof, choices, and progress you have made during the residency.

Where there is a relevant fit, ABHYUDAY may facilitate introductions to investors, corporates, and ecosystem partners. An introduction is not a promise of investment.

A credible next conversation

The work should make your next ask clear: a pilot, feedback, a partnership, or investment.

The residential experience

Come ready to work. We organise the rest with care.

The residency is designed so founders can stay focused on the business—not spend their days solving basic logistics.

Stay, meals, and day-to-day support

Selected residents receive their confirmed accommodation and dining details before onboarding, along with a resident-support contact for practical issues during the programme.

Safety and resident wellbeing

The residential plan includes campus safety arrangements and a clear support process. Rooming and any gender-specific accommodation details are shared with selected founders before arrival.

Travel coordination

For selected founders, ABHYUDAY will share the final travel plan before onboarding. From announced hubs—including Patna where scheduled—coordination may include group transfers or train and bus arrangements, depending on the cohort route and schedule.

After Demo Day

The relationship should not end when the room empties.

The right follow-through keeps the important conversations and founder decisions visible after the residency.

Day 30

Check customer movement and the actions that matter.

Day 60

Review sales, financial work, and the conversations now opening.

Day 90

Review traction and choose the next useful path.

For ecosystem partners

For people who can open a door.

Founders need more than advice. They need access: to a mentor who tells the truth, a customer willing to run a pilot, a public-support pathway, a sponsored seat, or a serious room at Demo Day.

If you can help create one of those opportunities for founders from eastern India, we would like to hear from you.

Questions founders ask

Straight answers.

Who is ABHYUDAY for?

Early-stage founders from eastern India who already have something in motion: a prototype, pilot, early users, revenue, customer insight, or another real signal.

Is this a college course or a hackathon?

No. ABHYUDAY is a 35-day residential founder accelerator. You work on your own company every day, with structure, feedback, mentoring, and a peer group around you.

How is IMT Ghaziabad involved?

ABHYUDAY is the programme and operating model. IMT Ghaziabad is the academic association, contributing faculty-led learning and, through IMT-IIC, its mentor and investor ecosystem.

Do you guarantee funding, fee support, or incubation?

No. ABHYUDAY can help founders prepare and, where eligible, navigate relevant support pathways. All funding, fee-support, and incubation decisions are made independently by the relevant authority, institution, or investor.

What is included in the residential experience?

Selected founders receive their confirmed accommodation, dining, on-site support, and travel-coordination details before onboarding. Exact rooming and transport arrangements are communicated with the final offer.

How selection works

From application to arrival.

ABHYUDAY is selective by design. We look for founders who already have something in motion, and every application is read by a person, not a filter.

  1. Apply

A short form about you and what you are building.

  2. Review

We look at the problem you are solving, the progress you have made, and your readiness for 35 days in residence.

  3. Conversation

Shortlisted founders have a short conversation with the selection team.

  4. Offer and support

Selected founders receive an offer. We help with the fee-support steps, and your seat is confirmed once they are complete.

  5. Arrive ready

Pre-work, plus your confirmed stay, meals and travel details, before you arrive.
